Synopsis

’Tis the season for madcap mayhem in Spindrift Cove, but this year, Santa’s bringing a body.

Sierra Sullivan thought leaving her job as a cruise director would mean smoother sailing after she moved to Spindrift Cove. Instead, the middle-aged entertainer is still scrambling for cash and swallowing her pride in taking on whatever bizarre gig comes her way, including the role of Mrs. Claus at the local mall.

But the holiday cheer goes up in smoke when a flash mob of Santas hits the local jewelry store. In a flurry of red velvet and shattered glass, they pull off a smash-and-grab, vanishing before the police can even blink.

The town is left reeling, but the real shockwave hits the next morning when Sierra discovers the mall Santa strangled with a strand of multicolored holiday lights.

With her daughter on maternity leave, Sierra attempts to unmask a killer hiding in plain sight behind a crimson suit and a fake white beard. Sierra needs to wrap this case up fast—because if she doesn't, this Christmas might just be her last.
